Chassis - part 3

AGGIORNAMENTO 09/06:  Qualche foto dei lavori svolti ieri sera dopo il lavoro. Ho completato le due toppe ad "L" nella traversa del telaio dove vi è l'aggancio per il serbatoio....un piccolo impazzimento per fare combaciare tutti i lati ma il lavoro è ben riuscito direi e lo squadro è lì a confermarlo.

UPDATE June 09th: A few photos of the work done last evening after job. I completed the two patches "L" on the chassis where there is petrol tank .... a little madness to make match all sides but the work is well done and I would say the square is there to confirm it.

Eccomi di nuovo qui....e con la saldatrice in mano!!
Ebbene sì, ho sfatato anche l'ultimo dei tabù: la saldatura. Nell'ultimo w-end, approfittando del lunedì di festa, ho passato 2 mattinate di full immersion in questo universo parallelo fatto di flash e scintille consumando un'intera bobina di filo da 200gr. Me la sono cavata discretamente direi considerando che non avevo neanche mai acceso una macchina ed è ritornato il sorriso sul mio volto, consapevole del fatto che il traguardo dei "fine lavori" sul telaio è ora alla mia portata.
Spero e confido di finire i lavori sul telaio -e magari anche verniciarlo- entro la scadenza del primo anniversario dall'arrivo di RichRon il 22 Luglio prossimo...sarà difficile ma ci proviamo.
A breve riconsegnerò i ponti al meccanico che rimonterà i differenziali ed il nuovo impianto frenante così da essere operativi quando il telaio sarà ok ed allora sì che vedrò i primi risultati! A presto.

I'll delivery axles to mechanical for remount differentials and the new braking system so they'll be operative when the frame will be ok and then, yes, I will see the first results! See you soon.
